'Aftermath': Ein Chixen Flicken

Posted by Billy Wonka on July 4, 2019 at 15:43:06:

Nicely filmed but "been there and done that" kind of story. A post-war tale of love and adultery unfolding in a Hamburg mansion owned by Alexander Skarsgard and occupied by Keira Knightley and Jason Clarke. The cast did their part and Skarsgard stood out in a convincing way as a German aristo. The spousal unit may have her feelings evoked by Knightley's woes as one might expect with such a storyline. High production standards but not a film for the celluloid discriminators.
