People vote for what they think is the best movie/performance. And all votes carry some bias. I am not religious. But I would have voted for the Exorcist in 1974 which starred real Catholic Priests and not actors and was supported by the Catholic Church (made them look good). I am not religious and I would have voted for it.

So the idea that because someone doesn't believe in God would not vote for a movie that is about religion is silly.

I would vote for Religulous too. A film about Religion.
