bought two of his books. Still remember where his fictional daddy worked, at Amalgamated Dirt Mines outside of Odessa. He was an Amalgamated man all they way, turned down numerous opportunities to work in the Consolidated Dirt Mines. Can't remember today's breakfast but can a little inane irrelevant nugget from a book I read 25+ year ago
