Polish film, "Corpus Christi:" catch the best performance I've seen

in many a moon. A young killer is released and through a fortuitous series of circumstances, is mistaken as the priest sent to a remote village to spell the sick local pastor. Once there, he finds he has the strange talent of being able to truly influence people's lives--- and these townsfolk are in dire need of it: before his arrival, a car wreck killed a group of local kids. The driver allegedly responsible died in the crash and his mother has been ostracized.

There actually have been true stories of such mistaken identities, certainly. This one succeeds because of the amazing talent of the young actor, Bartosz Bielenia. NO young actor comes close to this guy's range.

To those in doubt: Poland has a very good film industry: "Ida" won the Best Foreign Language Film only 2 years ago...
