Mulligan always impresses me....

No matter what I see her in! I LOVED The Dig and thought that both she and Ralph Fiennes gave wonderful performances. The Great Gatsby was a horrid film but she was the only bright spot in it. The remake of Far From The Maddening Crowd was far from great yet she was wonderful in a mediocre film. I am SO looking forward to her turn as Eliza Doolittle in My Fair Lady. That musical has a special place in my heart as it was the first live musical play that I attended as a young boy... I hope the redo will capture less of a "Hollywood" look and more of the grit of the working man's London of the time. Crucial though will be who they cast as Henry Higgins and Colonel Pickering. They are off to a good start though with Mulligan.....
