completely original, brilliant work of writing, cinematography, acting, and direction. Mariano Llinas is a young Argentine director who tells his three interwoven stories in a fascinating way with clever cuts, ambient noise and music, and subtle clues. It's part Cervantes, part Borges--- but really, it's a sly re-invention of film. I posted about it in 2020 and just re-watched it (four hours; broken into the 3-parts that make it very watchable)--- I was even more impressed, if possible.

Hard to find, but finally, it appeared for rent on Amazon Prime; since it only rents for 2 days, we paid the extra bucks for two rentals. One could binge it in two days of 2 hours each and overlap a bit; it certainly wouldn't affect the experience.

Again, if you don't see another film this year, see this one if you can.
