They could have put Ben Affleck in that role and REALLY screwed the pooch.

Bad enough he had as much screen time as he did.

Damon was comparatively harmless.

First hour was exquisitely dull, but it picked up.

Marguerite finally got some form of justice but too bad Driver
and Damon didn't kill each other.

Found it so/so.

If Kurosawa had made it, it would have thrived.

Rashomon it ain't.
