...the scene where Bond is tied up and Bardem first walks in the room with him is mesmerizing - Bardem is brilliant and owns every scene he's in.

I say Best Supporting Actor nominee.

As for the film, I would put it below Casino Royale (Craig's best) but way above Solace.

My favorites are Russia with Love and Goldfinger - the Aston Martin was a nice touch in this one about the past and future, reminding me of the theme from No Country for Old Men.

Edit - Just read the latest Rolling Stone which rates the 24 Bond films - they put it at #5. Can't disagree with that.
