'Daniel and Ana': Life can be mean in Mexico . . .

Posted by mr grits on January 25, 2013 at 20:26:30:

Ana and her brother were close. While out one day picking up things for her wedding they were hijacked, stuffed in Ana's trunk, and driven somewhere to a nice house. After being led to an upstairs bedroom their blindfolds were removed and they were coerced into having sex while being videoed. While talking on the phone we pick up that the kidnappers knew exactly who they were and who their family was. Expecting to be killed they are put back into Ana's trunk but released that night. They went back home never saying anything to anyone. The rest of the film is the tense drama of Ana dealing with her impending wedding and Daniel with his anger and conflicted feelings.

At the end of the film a note explained that thousands of people are abducted in Mexico and Latin America and forced into filming porno. They are usually released safely as almost no one calls the police to file a complaint or open an investigation.

The film is a well-done one with an obvious mission in mind and may prove interesting to see from the standpoint of such abductions being a somewhat common occurrence.
