I wrote already that I liked it more than Anatolia

But I am getting more and more concerned regarding your obsession with Tango - maybe you should start watching something wholesome... like Lawrence Welk? All your attempts at presenting Paul as quintessential middle aged male make little sense. He is nothing but a product of sick mind of an over-indulgent european pseudo-intellectual, whose real calling in life was watching young girls and boys masturbate. At 32 the director was already an old, old senile and impotent man.

Be it as it may, Distant is indeed a fine movie. If anything, it reminds me of work of Antonioni - say, L'avventura.
