Satyajit Ray

It may or may not have been a while since anyone has posted about this phenomenal Indian director. Since seeing "The Music Room" last week, my first Ray film, I became captivated and watched several more.

The Home and the World
The Big City
The Stranger

I can't believe that I somehow have seen thousands of films over the last 50 years and had never seen one of his. IMO Ray is right up there with the handful of often mentioned greats.

Anyone who has not...see any one of the above films for perhaps a very pleasant and shocking surprise!
