this was a really great movie...semi spoilers

"I do believe this is Depp's role of a lifetime. Method or not, he is so intensely someone else not Depp. Every actor was great, no slouching, no phoning it.

I picked up some valuable wisdom: If nobody saw it, it never happened.

Words to live by."

(The best part of this phrase he was telling it to his 7 or 8 year old son...WTH)

This is Depp's best role EVER...end of story...

Well written, great pace, shot well...Liked allot of the extreme facial close-ups...

The scene when he goes upstairs to talk to the FBI Agents wife is just truly menacing...touching her face to see if she is sick and putting his hand around her throat to "feel" her lymph glands...keeping his calm tone, but totally terrified her and for good reason...

Then earlier that scene at dinner completely undressing the FBI Agent for giving up the "secret" family recipe for the steak marinade...so easily...reminded of Pesci in Goodfellas..."What do mean I make you laugh?" Except this laughter had teeth with intent...

Great movie...4.75 stars out of 5...

We will see how Fassbender's Jobs is as good as Depp's Whitey...

Nailed this one BW...
thanks
Mark
