RE: future and past, live action and animated?

an upcoming TV series on HBO, Westworld. I've seen only the one trailer. Sexy female 'bots. I presume a remake of the early seventies movie of the same name. I'll look forward to that one. Hopefully it delivers on its promise.

Well, I guess we should include this one. The first of many more? The 2009 Blu-Ray of Metropolis has the latest recovered missing pieces to the film added in. A great reference for sci-fi movies.

from the animated movie "Ghost in the Shell: Innocence" (2nd movie). Exploding gynoids. A mystery noir that seeks to explain why cyborg gaisha bots are killing their 'johns'. It is hard to find a good English version of this film but worth it if you can.

Not a female robot, but there is a rumor that this sci-fi author managed to upload the essence of himself into the web.

We can't overlook the female replicants in this novel/movie. The deadly ones and the one that didn't know she was a replicant. In the end,we really do believe that androids do indeed dream of electric sheep. And the humans too.

And who can forget the sexiest of all Cylons!

So many the bandwidth won't allow them all.
