no need to ask for an excuse, everyone has to start somewhere. I'm sure your opinions will improve the more movies you study and amount of thought you apply.

For myself, i would think it hard to support your position, but would be interested in how you formed your opinion. because your opinion seems to have no support I can understand, but I haven't seen seen creature from the lagoon since I was a kid. I don't remember it being anything more than a typical monster movie of the time. The point was to sell popcorn with one, the other is an oscar winning love story of some skilled complexity .
