I rewatched it a few weeks back...

I saw it when it came out and I remember it as one of the best comic book movies, which I generally find kind of boring. So I watched a bluray because it's been a long time.

I think it's OK. Heath Ledger deserves the acclaim he got as a nihilistic villain. The whole atmosphere is dark and Batman is a pretty disturbed vigilante. I thought it was generally well done visually.

However, when rewatching, I did see it as a comic book movie, overly long for sure, and without much surprise. I never watched the one that came before or the one after, and I'm not really tempted to do that.

And just for the record, since I have not seen a single one of the 18 Marvel movies, I won't be seeing Infinity War this weekend.
