Has anyone picked up on the CB Strike series (Cinemax)?

A miniseries of JK Rowling's (pen name Galbraith) contemporary British detective stories. A refreshing change from other Brit mysteries. Less stiff and stodgy, but still convoluted enough to keep you in it. Strike is a war vet amputee and former army investigator, played by Tom Burke. The physical and psychological scars are dealt with as he pieces together murders that the police can't handle. An understated presence until near the end, when you realize that nothing has passed him by. A little Poirot-ish like that.
The last series, "The Silkworm" was Rowling's brilliant takedown of the publishing industry.
