'London Fields': A mob scene of recongnizables . . .

Posted by Billy Wonka on October 29, 2018 at 08:24:28:

A flood of not quite A-List folks populate this rolling cacophony of sometimes lurid and confused characters.

Nicola Six (Heard) is clairvoyant and knows who is going to kill her. She and Billy Bob live in the same building where he adopts her as his muse to break his writers block. From there two other suitors join the competition. Theo James is the wealthy gentleman while Jim Sturgess is the loutish, small time criminal who has also fallen for the greatest fem fatale London has ever seen.

This show revolves around Heard and Billy Bob and is filled with glorius overacting (Sturgess, whom I didb't recognize until his third scene)and Depp who was not credited in the film and not even IMDb. I suppose the film is a vehicle for Heard but it turns out to be a mish-mash that can be aggravating as we slide from tease to tease.

Certainly not worth the walk-in.

2 wonks for artistic endeavor
3.5 wanks for confused meaningless characters
