With The Irishman you have former box office top stars combined with a former great director
for a film that is already famous for reaching an astronomical production budget that has yet
to include marketing/hype and distribution.
Ten or so years ago it sounded like a movie with serious potential.
As each year goes by, it just seems like something already... done.
And somewhere in that mix of ego, talent, work, strife, and possibly
art, someone expects it will make money?
Questionable.
And I like all involved.
