'Babylon Berlin S2': How did Tykwer get away with this?

Posted by Billy Wonka on March 5, 2019 at 22:22:06:

I watched season one which had a lot of period color and a decent story with lots and lots of characters. Then I start season two and it is largely season one re-edited with new scenes thrown in! They actually backed up and re-developed the story with a different conclusion. If you were crazy enough to watch it, that's where the deja vu came from: Seeing a hazy season one rehashed.

Took a lot of balls to do that. I had to watch it in order to witness the self-plagiarism in progress.

1 wonk for trying to pull a fast one
4 wanks for deja vu, deja vu, deja vu . . .
