Kung Fu Hustle on Blu-Ray-wow!

Now THIS is a movie well worth having in high-definition! I had watched the movie previously and loved the story: In the fine Hong Kong tradition, a wonderful blend of great action and screwball humor, aided in this instance by a generous helping of wirework and cgi.

Turns out, it also looks just plain gorgeous in HD, and the sonics are no slouch either: Nice and--dare I say it--punchy! I'd call it demo-quality, but be warned that it could wind up being a very long demo.

Feature-wise, it seemed about on par with it's standard-def counterpart: Satisfying, if not particularly next-gen.

Definitely a worthy addition to the video library.
