Report on Marantz BD7003 Blu-ray player.

Posted by TGT on February 23, 2009 at 13:09:21:

There seems to be very little feedback on this player so I thought I’d share my experience.
I really don’t have much to say other than the picture on my Sony 46XBR2 is stunning from both Blu-ray and standard DVDs. I noted that all the menu defaults are what I would have selected anyway, so all I have done is connect this thing to my receiver and enjoy. It does nothing to call attention to itself other than to project a really good picture.
I, of course, expected the Blu-rays to impress but I believe it may do a slightly better job on standard DVDs than my previous player, which was a well received Panasonic.
