Great Advice that seems right

My HDMI cables are short, 2 meter, 1.3b certified and of good quality. They are those "flat" ones where all the conductors are in a single row. They cost about 20 bucks each, but looked so good I got them, assuming they were overkill.

My blu ray player is connected to the HK receiver by an HDMI cable and another HDMI cable connects the HK to the TV.

Sounds like I need to further investigate this.
