So you have seen SD DVDs look just as good when "upscaled" to a
50" Plasma as they do when played on a Sony XBR tube TV?

A year ago I went into BestBuy and talked them into letting me
connect a store DVD player to a Plasma and the DVD looked soft
and blurry on the Plasma. I was very disappointed and the BestBuy
sales person said that SD DVDs will never look good on a Plasma
due to the lower resolution of DVDs.

At home I have a Krell DVD Standard and a Meridian G98 so I have
top notch DVD players which I would hope have the best scalers
available built in.
