Indoor HDTV Antenna

Posted by rivieraranch on April 17, 2010 at 10:58:26:

I'm in South Florida, which is relatively flat and I am not too far from the transmitting stations for my local channels. I subscribe to DirecTV, and naturally skeptical of a company that makes one letter in their name do double duty. More skeptical am I that I am being charged monthly for local channels along with the dish bundle.

My home has a very high ceiling in the main portion. Would an indoor HD antenna work well enough on these local channels. Then I can tell DirecTV to take their local channel fee and shove it.
