Question on Oppo BDP-93

Posted by murali on April 8, 2013 at 21:06:55:

The BDP-93 manual says you can connect both its HDMI-1 and HDMI-2 ports simultaneously to the TV and processor/receiver respectively so that the video goes straight to the display and only the audio goes to the processor/receiver. However, when I wrote to Oppo technical support to find out the settings to be configured in the audio and video setups, they inform that it could be done (video setup - HDMI audio off, audio setup - HDMI bitstream) but may not work properly.

Anyone running like this and willing to share the settings and experience, please?

Thanks in advance.
