Mitsubishi HC1500

Posted by drpatt92@gmail.com on November 28, 2015 at 15:47:19:

I do hope someone can help me out here. I searched for previous posts and didn't have any luck. I have a Mitsubishi HC1500 that needed a new bulb. I purchased one and installed it, and reset the lamp timer. The lamp went on and within a few minutes exploded. I removed the bulb and acquired another replacement and reset the lamp timer again. The new bulb wouldn't light. Acquired yet a third bulb and the projector runs for an intermittent time and then shuts off. It seems to think the bulb needs replacing but no matter how many times I reset the lamp timer, it starts, runs for a while and shuts down. When I turn it on, I get green power and status lights and then it shuts dow. Door is secured, btw.

Any help appreciated.
