I did four and six-hour stretches. Was not disappointed and found the ending powerful.
It seemed that Bateman and Linney have aged. Is it really them or is it to cover for Linney? I found it noticeable.
Follow Ups:
I know the show runners have to add new elements each year, while staying true to the original story, but these things gave me pause (hopefully not too spoilery),The Ben storyline, no surprises there
Never bought the FBI's role. That they would investigate the Byrde's, of course, but the "audit" and their omnipresence, uh uh.
I could watch a movie of Julia Garner eating popcorn for 90 minutes and give it at least 5*. As it is, this season, imho, was about a 7 (compared to 8 & 9) for S1 & S2

I tried to watch pieces to simply plug some time holes... but no go.
Total garbage is WRONG, you second world reject.
I lost a fair bit of sleep getting through S3 at full speed.
Julia Garner (Ruth Langmore) made the show for me.
I would watch it all again just for her.

Can't wait to see what horrible fate awaits The Byrdes.
Given the fate of many on the show, it should be mind boggling.
Hopefully.

But it's just too bleak and grim for me.
I did just finishing binging seasons 1-5 of 'Chicago P.D.' Great show.

reelsmith's axiom: Its going to be used equipment when I sell it, so it may as well be used equipment when I buy it.
Pretty much can't stand their characters anymore or their relationship.
On one level, BRILLIANT character development on another, fuck 'em
My wife and I were saying Linney looks like she's aging noticeably per episode.
Also - I FINALLY know what REO Speedwagon sounds like.
Another reason to be disappointed in S3.
Had managed to avoid that up until now....

The total corruption and transformation of Wendy Byrde makes S3 for me.
It's not pleasant, but it's still riveting.
