maybe it's tied into more films than we think.
maybe all films romanticize life. it's not really life as we know it. an illusion of life.

Hmmm... even things like "120 Days of Sadom"? Man Bits Dog? I think there are plenty that strip any layer of romanticizm off life... unfortunately.

You mean of course From Dusk Till Dawn, from dusk TO dawn is the 1913 silent film that no one has seen, I suspect.
I dunno, I would not call From Dusk Till Dawn corny, I think it is well below that... your average all-around trash.
