I'm in the process or re-building our home entertainment center. Currently I have:
Onkyo TX-DS797 Receiver
B&W 703 Main Speakers
B&W 705 Rear
B&W ASW 700 Sub
B&W HTM 7 Center
all bi-wired with Synergistic Research Speaker Cables
Samsung 56" DLP HD-Ready TV is being delivered next week.My question is how can I get the best possible quality audio & video components for my system for under $1500? Playing SACD, DVD-Audio, DVD-Video, DVD-R's, CD-R's, and MP3's are all important here.
I have been looking at the Onkyo DV-SP800 all-in-one for about $900 and the Marantz DV8400 all-in-one for $1500. The Marantz has the DVI-D output which would be important for HDTV Viewing and from reviews, the audio quality seems to be better as well.
Should I invest in one of these now or go cheaper and wait till the end of the year? Or... should I try to find 2 seperate high quality component for under $1500 - one for wathing movies in HD and one for listening to Super Audio CD's and DVD-Audio?

Buy the Sony DVP-NS999ES (Retail is $1,200) from OADE Brothers for about $800 stock or with the Euro-MOD for $900, comes in Silver or Black. This is one of the best bargins in all of HI-FI and HT.http://www.oade.com/Home_theater/sony/dvd/dvpns999es.html
