If your DVD transport can pass the DTS signal, then your EAD TM can decode it. If not, replace your transport with a newer model that can pass the DTS signal. It is not necessary to upgrade the EAD TM.
i'd call EAD. you are using the classic TM model, which from my understanding had some compatability issues. your dealer may be right about the upgrade thing.

Actually, I was using the Pioneer 919 Dvd player which is capable of sending DTS signals. At first I thought the Pioneer is defective but it works fine with other processor. I just want to know from the owners of other theater master whether they have the same problem.
