Many violent things happen in this suspense thriller, but they are handled in an interesting way. There are some oddly sweet moments where you'd least expect them. Joaquin Phoenix is superb as usual.

-----where the hell was the story?

Could've been so much better--than the premise.

Is 'pointless'.

It was a terrible movie that thought it was 'art'.
