Perlman's voice and comedic timing and the wry writing of the first 'Hellboy' are sorely missed. I didn't suspend for almost 30 minutes into the feature. Harbour did the best he could with a sagging script and far less presence than Perlman. That box office receipts testify to that.

2 wonks for production and McShane, who is always good

3 wanks for script and choosing the wrong Hellboy

I wonder why the couldn't get Ron Perlman to reprise the role, he was excellent in the first film

On a scale of 1 to 10 it's a minus 1. Absolutely no reason to waste money on this turkey.
