I watched Black Angel tonight with Dan, Peter Lorre, Broderick Crawford et al. Pretty good film. I recommend it.

As to Dan playing I always watch actors playing piano in movies closely because most aren't playing. Dan is the real deal. A good player. He is also a favorite actor of mine. Seen him a lot of late during my recent Noir binge.

Victor he's great in Scarlett St. with Edward G. See it yet?

Is Scarlet Street the one where EGR goes crazy at the end?
Or is it The Woman in the Window?

Dan D was in the Noir about the Money Bag getting tossed into Woman's Car.
I liked that one too, and there's Winchester 56 or whatever the number is, Jimmy Stewart kills him.

Was DD in Bad Day at Black Rock?
I loved it when Spencer Tracy beat the crap out of Ernest Borgnine,
another great Bad Guy.

Seen him w/ Jayne Mansfield? , posted on September 29, 2019 at 07:31:47

Interesting film. Set in Philly/Atlantic City John Facenda, the original voice if NFL films. He was also a newscaster in Philly. Neat film. Name escapes me. Check IMDB from around 57-58. Duryea has a heart in this one! Mansfield gorgeous and laid back. Her best acting as I see it.
