Diane Kruger plays a German woman who lost her Turkish husband and six-year-old son in a Neo-Nazi bombing in Hamburg. This film projects the dark reality of modern justice and the fallout it can cause.

There are some clever twists and earnest performances in this film that gets its inspiration from a 2004 attack.

Gritty but worth it.

German film by the always good director (German/Turkish), Fatih Akim. Film won best Golden Globe award and Cannes voted her Best Actress. Hollywood? Film didn't make it to contention for an Oscar. Figures...
