A young woman on the "fast track" in a French multinational plays the HR game perfectly. She handles all the murderous, and endless, HR policies cooked up by her boss (Lambert Wilson who is the quintessential corporate-speak smoothie).

She is flying high doing things by the book when a problem employee, after a confrontation, propels himself out of a fourth-story window. Now government investigators arrive and Emilie must destroy the HR plan that caused the man to jump.

Quickly, all those brownie points vanish and Emilie finds herself becoming a scapegoat minute by minute.

This is well done and could give the suits here nightmares.

It's not in English either, but, unlike the 2017 incarnation, there are no subtitles. Even so, I especially recommend the part starting at about 46:20. (I have to use a link rather than embedding it here, because the copyright owner does not allow embedding on this site!)

Unpleasant, but with an ending that more than makes up for it. Makes me glad to be retired...lol
