Spielberg's movie about the cold war spy swap with Gary Powers the U2 pilot.

I haven't seen a movie this good in years. When Spielberg retires we'll have nothing but CGI crap and woke feminist propaganda.

If you haven't seen this yet you should check it out.

I got the blu-ray in the mail from Netflix.

You're right about the film and Spielberg. I saw it in the theater when it came out, and have been waiting for it to appear on one of my subscription channels for a another viewing. I was SO looking forward to his version of West Side Story and now I have to wait until later this year. He is one of a handful of working directors today that IMO has gained "legend" status with the likes of Hitchcock, Wyler, Wilder, Zinnemann, Minnelli, etc., etc......

A guy on a date with a girl that isn't a woke feminist often finds himself subjected to RomCom indoctrination. But if the guy pretends not to detest the movie, afterward he could get lucky and the date might have a happy ending. Feminist propaganda dates don't have happy endings for heterosexual males.

He seemed to miss it.

Maybe alter the tempo a bit?

As great as it was perhaps a tad too dry...
