 It was particularly nice in view of the fact that she always falls asleep when she tries to watch this movie with me!

 Anatoly Solonitsyn, star of "Andrei Rublev," and several other Tarkovsky master works. Also, he if unforgettable in, "The Ascent," a film that is the most devastating war film of all--- no gore, no histrionics, just a calm flaying of human fear.

 Horrendously over-rated joke of a movie, based on a horrendously over-rated piece of "literature" by a pair of horrendously over-rated pseudo-intellectual writers.

Just what the West needed. :)

 My wife falls asleep during Solaris, but actually liked Stalker. She fell asleep during the Soderberg remake of Solaris also, even though she is a bigger science fiction fan than I am.
