We are all expected to go see the full cast reunion of the Jurrasic saga. In fact, there were as many boomers there as anybody. We were treated to the usual things in the rest of the series with less man-chomping violence. There were a few chomps but they weren't as satisfying as the previous films.

A lot of emphasis was put on a teen girl with a British accent but there were some very nice action/chase scenes filmed on Malta. Acting managed and Goldblum as disjointed as ever. Pratt and Opie's kid were maximum vanilla as they played raptor babysitters thrown into a sinister (James Bondian) plot. Dewanda Wise did a good spin as an ever-confident rouge pilot who becomes a hero. It is a totally woke production.

I felt let down but I'm too jaded to get involved in something Ive seen so many times before.

More mileage was squeezed from the Predator series by combining with Alien., posted on June 12, 2022 at 08:19:35

I foresee a genius move to combine Jurassic with Godzilla. The beat could go on.

There's a prequel coming in August for Predator. It takes place 300 years ago with Comanche Indians.

Wonderful. Can't wait, but the theme has been preempted, sort of., posted on June 12, 2022 at 08:46:12

There was a pretty good film awhile back (by my sewer standards) called "Cowboys and Aliens", with -- no less -- Daniel Craig and Harrison Ford. They must have needed pocket change.

Actually it was better than it sounds. Movie titles could use more budget.

I saw Cowboys and Aliens with great excitement, but found it disappointing. Rewatching it a couple of years later, it seems okay. The Predator prequel is going to be on Hulu. BTW, the score of the original Predator might be my favorite part--except the great ending action in the mud and darkness.

But an upgrade to the park including higher prices likely works well for stockholders.

I've heard there are plans to merge Jurassic Park with Legoland in order to reach a
new demographic.

NOT in... Florida.

The title pretty much prevented me from watching it. But saw it at a friend's place and was pleasantly surprised. Seen it twice since... so every 4-5 years I guess. Decent.

Trailer, opening sequences, posted on June 13, 2022 at 06:21:16
I watched the opening 5 minutes or so on YouTube and initially thought the live dinosaurs were very life-like, but as the sequence progressed their movements looked very clunky. Even the T Rex. But maybe that's how they really moved, although I doubt it.

reported in a Western newspaper during that time period. Embellished, feck yeah, but TRUE. It was in the newspaper (internet).
