Sorry, my resistance is low.

Damn strait he was scary looking!

Seems his (successful) career was mostly based on that, though he was
never a one trick pony because of it.

was the first time I recall her being a bit frightening when I was a child but definitely other roles I later saw her in like Double Indemnity were as well...if not more so!
