Imagine living in a 1950s enclosed community where everything seems perfect. Pretty people, beautiful surroundings, lots of parties, and there's FRANK.

Good performances and character building. Wilde did well.

Style over substance rules the day and, in the end, you will feel a bit peckish just like a serving of Chinoise.

Will give this one a try this afternoon.

The film has had some negative press surrounding it...., posted on September 26, 2022 at 18:27:27

but not necessarily due to the film itself... Olivia Wilde originally intended to play the Florence Pugh role herself until she saw Pugh in another film... Shia LeBeouf was originally cast in the male lead role until he clashed repeatedly with Wilde. LeBeouf has a rep. of being difficult. He was eventually replaced by the sexually ambiguous Harry Styles. Finally, Wilde was served with custody papers by her ex-husband Jason Sudeikis as she was trying to introduce the film and trailer at a film festival....YIKES!

as I watched it. He is just too much of a "tool". He and Norton should start their own mutual admiration society and call it quits.

As far as ability goes.... I don't think much of LeBeouf...., posted on September 28, 2022 at 07:31:46

However, Norton OTOH is VERY talented... IMO of course...

Women are victims of the evil men who want to keep them down.

Olivia. Wilde.

I couldn't imagine Wilde giving all the soul that Pugh did. And Pugh summoned up the best American accent ever.
