 I just started it. Should be finished by Thanksgiving, it's a relatively long one. Looks good so far though. Beautiful photography. Immersive trenches. Glad I wasn't born in the 1890's. Seen it?

 I watched a History channel documentary on The Great War that focused on numbers. Eg. 1 billion artillery shells were fired. Fifty billion rifle and machine gun shells were fired. It was incredible.

 Puts the experience of warfare nearly (almost) in the ballpark of how horrible it actually must be.

 It was a good movie with good characters and great cinematography.
