...a new Netlix Marvel Comics series.

I've only watched the first episode and it reminds me of the 1970's TV series "Kung Fu" with Kwai Chang Caine dropped into a modern New York City.

A little too comic booky for my tastes but I'm going to watch at least another episode.

I liked it though I wonder if they'll be able to make a second season that's as good as the first.

...the first 6 episodes out of 13 of Season 1 but I think I'm done.

A review I read said it gets better after #10, even with so-so action, no central villain, etc.

I lost interest in Daredevil in Season 2 as well, ho hum..., posted on March 27, 2017 at 12:51:38

The sound emulated a loud video game during fight scenes. Her TV room is next to my music room--not a week of marital bliss. Felt like my grown-up sons were back in the house driving everyone nuts with video games.

As someone who enjoys most of the Marvel superhero mythos, Iron Fist is a disappointingly weak series with too many plot-holes and character inconsistencies. The plodding tale can't seem to decide on a plot, frequently setting up scenarios that don't advance the story, make no logical sense and create more questions than answers.

For instance, Iron Fist's side trip to backlot "China" w/o visas via private jet after holds were placed on the family money. The "drunken master" lift was a well filmed action scene, but perfunctory. There are times the series looks like it's trying to be a horror tale, other times a crime story, occasionally martial arts, urban fiction romance, and ...once in a great while... a superhero yarn. Unfortunately, all of these parts don't make up a cohesive whole. Definitely not on a par with other Marvel productions for Netflix.

A much better told story with good character development and much better martial arts scenes is the AMC series "Into the Badlands". I can highly recommend this series.
