coppers trying to bust commies and pornographers, and decadent nightclub acts and dancing. Pretty calm for 1929 Berlin. This is an ensemble with multiple storylines exploding from the center. And yes, it has plenty of time to work all of them as it is SIXTEEN episodes long. Great art direction and costumes but a tad difficult to follow as we watch a young police inspector from Cologne track down a blackmailer trying to upset the Mayor's re-election bid back home. I'm a sucker for this stuff so I will probably die with my remote in hand or finish it first. Dubbed in Engrish. Lots of grit and action. Try three epi's and commit or slide.
