Clint made a point and saved a ton of money using the original principles in this film. We see their near aimless childhoods as they morph into the military. Their jaunt around Europe was ending after they visited Paris.

Clint used interesting editing to flashback and forth from the actual incident to their childhoods to keep you interested. It is entertaining in that sense. Outside of patriotism and a dose of the higher power, there is not a lot of popcorn value here.

The average monocle wearing AA viewer will not be interested in this one.

this movie presents another tough position for the I love old white america, I hate the american people, folks.

While the tribe insists that anything that remotely glorifies the military gets a big thumbs up, the real hero solders are from, gasp, California. And you know the rules about california. social progress in europe is over there, social progress in california must be destroyed before the rubes see a possible connection.
