Only 2 episodes left, and I burned through Bosch.
Gonna have too much time on my hands for a while.
Anyway, I LOVE Barry, and the one last Sunday was was just effing amazing,
left me going, like, Oh wow, oh wow, like.
Only I'm serious.
Wow!

It's very enjoyable.

I'm on the second episode and was not into it, maybe I'll give it another go, posted on May 5, 2018 at 06:43:35

It goes from Dead-Pan to Dark Humor, and shockingly back to Reality.
He's looking for something else to do in Life.
He ends up at this Acting Class, where he is told he is very "Giving",
and he believes it.
Nobody there can act or will ever get a gig acting, even in a Commercial, but they don't know it yet.
Henry Winkler has a Home in LA, may have been Someone earlier in Life, now teaches the Class to keep busy and have a few more Bucks coming in.
He told the Black Female Cop he's 49!!!!!!!!!
He's 73, like me!
Last week literally ended with a Bang.
Only 2 left, I hope they are already working on the Next Season!

It has some laughs like the very metrosexual Chechen criminal. All in all it's well written and lots of surprising twists but the acid test of s comedy is laughs.

There are laugh out loud moments in veep and I have found this years Silicon Valley very funny after a pretty bad sag the last couple seasons. But Barry is lower on the scale for me. Comedy is very individual but I just don't look forward to it as much. It has promise and I think it it still finding it's feet.

Love it!
I usually don't like Henry Winkler but he's really good in this.

I loved it when he told the Lady Cop he was "49"!!!!
He's 73, just like me.
Jack Benny was 39 for most of his life...
Can't wait for next season.

Loved it. Dark as a wolf's mouth but funnier than one^, posted on June 25, 2018 at 22:38:14
