Caught him last night giving interview to Mark Levin.

Gary had a successful career in movies and on TV, but he changed his priorities in life, and for the last 12 years or so has been spending his time, his money and love on war veterans, soldiers, policemen and firemen - all those who put their lives on line. What he has done is truly amazing, including the programs for children.

I have known about this side of his life for many years, and have developed strong respect for him, but last night interview showed so much more than I knew, that I was deeply smitten by this man.

No, he has not left movies completely, but that part of his life is on his back, back, back burner.

Anyone interested in his cause and activity can go to gary sinisefoundation.org

One of the best roles ever, covering a broad spectrum of evolving emotions. He nailed it clean for disabled vets.

Lt. Dan was great but he and Malkovich in the remake of "Of Mice and Men" along with Ray Walston was excellent.

He's a good dude and a good musician too.

All other members of the band get paid, except him.

He's a real mensch.

I have heard about his foundation and continued strong support of our vets. I also have much more respect for him than just the actor part.

Agreed- Mr. Sinise is a beacon amongst the cess pool that is Hollywood.

The beautiful Loraine Day, the star of Hitchcock's Foreign Correspondent:

"She was a huge fan of Richard Nixon and campaigned for him in the 1968 and 1972 presidential elections. She also supported Dwight D. Eisenhower in 1952 and longtime Hollywood friend Ronald Reagan in the 1980/1984 presidential election." (imdb)
