Got through 5 episodes and don't know if I'll watch any more.

Just hasn't grabbed me.

Good enough acting and fairly intersting story.

Pretty standard fare as far as story goes (average ending) good quality acting is not enough to offset the rest.

You have to STAY WITH THE PROTAGONIST.

They don't. This is maybe 15% Jack Ryan and 85% some poor terrorist dude who has been treated horribly by the west and loves his family and on and on and on about shit we do not care about.
