There's something for every political bent in the half-baked dramedy starring semi-knowns, knowns, and forgettables.

This time a Predator crashes into our planet while being pursued by another Predator ship. He drops right in the middle of a USA hit on cartel henchmen which causes a fracas and the loss of Predator equipment that McKenna purloins rather than turn it over to the proper authorities. A big box comes to his estranged families home and his young son accepts it and soon savants his way to activating the gear and sending out locator signals.

McKenna ends up in the loony group and is soon on his way to a VA funny farm when the Predator strikes the lab where the captured Predator is/was sedated. Mayhem ensues and continues throughout the rest of the film.

Key and Jane try to provide levity and yucks but this mishmash just doesn't get off the ground. Olivia Munn plays a contract biologist that is onto the discovery of a lifetime. Trembly plays an Asperger suffer who is the brain of the future. (Who knew)

This thing is below Grade B and shouldn't even be watched on cable.

Too bad. The Predator is one of the best sci-fi characters created in my lifetime. It's disappointing to see the franchise go down.
Thanks for the heads-up.

I think the first one is a classic B+ film. A couple sequels were crap. Sounds like you would put this one in the Crap category?

Disappointing review but it's not a shocker.

The original, Predator is an almost perfect movie but the sequels run the gamut from bad to good.

"Predator 2" had it's moments but Danny Glover seemed so much like Murtaugh to me, I kept waiting to see Mel Gibson enter the film. Morton Downey Jr was a bonus. "Predator 2" is as early 90's as Billy Ray Cyrus singing Achy Breaky Heart.

I enjoyed Robert Rodriguez "Predators" - it was better then I anticipated though Adrien Brody was miscast.

The rest of the franchise are fairly mediocre and if your review is accurate (and usually agree with you) we can add this latest entry on to the Predator pile. Thank you for your posts!

Have a great day

P2 didn't capture the eerie menace of the original, but the character of "King Willie,"the Jamaican drug kingpin, was worth the price of admission.
"King Willie will see you now."
