I try to see every movie that comes from that country. While most of them do not raise to the level of Carlos Sorin's masterpieces, many have plenty to offer. They seem to be as far removed from Hollywood, as is geographically possible. :-) The Desert Bride is a rather short film, that manages to keep you riveted to the screen for its 78 minutes. A very simple story, told quietly, but something you are likely to remember. Streaming from Netflix.
