MM is a simple sports fisherman living on Plymouth Island somewhere in the tropics. He hires out his boat and pursues the BIG TUNA that foils him. Then Serenity 1.4 begins when his ex (Hathaway) appears being contrite about leaving him for a brutal gangster (Jason Clarke) while MM was in Iraq. Oh, by the way, would you kill my husband for $10M?

So, MM takes safe harbor in Diane Lane's arms for a little cash when he is strapped. Not gigolo money but almost. MM takes up the offer after some soul searching and anger. Hounsou figures out what is happening and tries to talk MM out of doing anything wrong.

Serenity 2.0 begins when the mysterious little man appears to inform him that his actions should not be taken. Quickly the BIG TWIST is revealed and I got mad and wanted to leave. Let's say I started combing the theater for Christopher Nolan.

1 wonk for just making the damned thing with cardboard characters and all
3 wanks for a weak script and a twist that allows you to guess what is going to happen next.

Don't bother.
